I have set in the shed along with the relay and wiring to have them operate as "proper" drls. Anyone know where I can pick up a switched ignition feed in the engine bay?

engine sensors :)

I did this on the CMAX, and I am waiting to find a style of DRL I like and I will be doing it. Fuse 17 (automatic gearbox - will still hvae power) or 32 (auto and engine control module) from the engine fusebox would be my preference as they look like they would be ignition controlled. Just tap into them with a fusetap and jobs a good un :)

Great. Already got a route through the bulkhead(left a draw wire in) so should be easy. Cheers

reverse light switch is probably the simplest ignition feed to get to.

Are you joking or being serious?

The live on the reverse switch is on with the ignition, when you engaged reverse it presses on the switch and completes the circuit to the reverse lights.

If it isn't live, then when you select reverse gear the lights will not come on Simples!!! :P

Lol pulling your leg mate to be honest any fuse in the engine bay is ignition live. So almost all could be used for drl, I personally prefer to use empty slots where possibl which is why I would use something like auto gearbox
