Got mot coming up soon and the handbrake barely holds the car if on an incline. Cheers. ppeter7 Posted September 4, 2014 Share Posted September 4, 2014 could try checking cables are free i took mine off and put wd40 down the inside of cable sleeveand repeatedly pushed and pulled cable in and out.Also try foot on brake and press handbrake button in and pull lever up and down several times.check the slidders on caliper are moving freely to Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
kevzs960 Posted September 5, 2014 Share Posted September 5, 2014 Theres a heatshield above the centre section of the exaust, bend it down and follow where the handbrake cables go to, there will be a plate they both connect to with a nut.
