Leaky Leaky Drip Power Steering

Well, the saga continues.... Car in the garage, and they can't suss out where the leak is coming from. Been told it'll cost £140 just to strip the engine and locate the leak.

Bank balance - drip drip drip.......

Power steering leaking is a very common problem on the mk2 focus. My brother had to change the pipe twice.

Indeed it is. A nightmare. Been on going for a while.... booked in again tomorrow.

Could be the O ring...thats the news. Will update.

I had this dripping from the pump. After the pump was replaced the radiator broke shortly after. After this was replaced shortly after again the power steering doesnt work unless foot on the gas at reasonable speed (not working at all to park etc). I have no fluid loss now tho but I feel your pain!!! I actually wonder sometimes if it's better to use public transport LOL

It was fixed, then we noticed leaking still. Returned to the garage and told they'd not fitted a mod kit with the pump..... so, back this week and it;ll be fixed FOC.
