RiDER07
Hello there, What DRL can I fit on my current Zetec plate 58? I was thinking of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-LED-Excellent-Led-daytime-running-light-for-Ford-Focus-2009-2011-/111196703892?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3AFord%7CModel%3AFocus&hash=item19e3d70c94 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LED-DRL-DayTime-Running-Light-Replacement-FOG-GRILLE-For-Ford-Focus-2009-2011-/390838933664?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5affd0d8a0 First, will these ^ fit in my car? And will it work? Second, what other ones are available, as I want mine to look a bit different from the traditional DRL? Any help is much appreciated. higgsy
They all look pretty much like that, there is no real alternative. Those cheap(er) Chinese drls dont get very good feedback, flimsy etc, I also think the top set are very "silver "and in your face". Most people on here have ones from Taiwan, I got mine from here, and they are a top quality product http://www.crazythegod.com/index.php/crazythegod-focus-4d-2008-2010-facelifted-drl-daytime-running-led-fog-light-cover-for-ford.html
RiDER07
thank you. That's nearly 75 pounds! That's well expensive! Won't the 40 quid one work just as fine?
higgsy
Maybe, who knows. Personally I went with ones recommended by other people after researching it extensively last year. I know there were a few people who had bought the cheap chinese units and were not very happy with them. If you do get some make sure you get some with a control box so you can dim or switch them off when your lights are on. Some of the cheap units dont have this box or don't have a dimming function on it.
RiDER07
How easy are they to fit?
higgsy
Pretty easy took me about 2 hours in total. There is a guide in the guides section which is a good starting point/help. There are also some photos of my installation in my build thread
