JW1982
I collected a lot of TSB files from the internet over the years. I have got the following information about the TSB you requested. Note that I deleted some non relevant information. Also note that this Ford TSB is no (warranty) recall. The TSB's are only a guide for the mechanic containing known problems and solutions. If the car is not under warranty you have to pay yourself for the repair. pezza371887
Fantastic reply, just what I needed. Ford have basically been lying to me that this TSB doesn't exist and want me to pay £1500 for new injectors on a 2009 1,8 TDCI with 49K on the clock. They have not mentioned anything about the PCM update to cure the batch ending in 3. Ford confirmed last week all 4 of my injectors are in the batch ending in 3 however when I asked if this was a documented issue the categorically said no it was just know amongst the local dealers. Is that image on the link I posted above an official picture from the bulletin? I would have thought if they knew there was an issue with this batch then Ford should replace them instead of a PCM update to work around the issue? Cheers Pezza
