Kye
Hello all. Has anyone got any idea what the sensor is that is under the mat in the boot at all? it's a black rectangular thing with a black and yellow cable. It is between the back seats and spare wheel well. I can't find any thing on it. Not knowing what it is, is bugging me. :p
Dee_82
got any pics? don't have anything like that myself other then the reverse sensor box. I keep finding connectors all over the car for things not connected, one day i'll work out what they all do! :)
higgsy
Its for the stability control , inertia sensor or something along those lines
troy45
Its for the stability control , inertia sensor or something along those lines I'm positive it's a sensor for the keyless locking system, to stop you locking the keys inside the car. There's also one mounted behind the back bumper to cover instances of locking your keys in the boot. The yaw rate sensors for the ESP etc are mounted at the bottom of each b-pillar.
