perx
does the starter actually turn over when you turn the key? No, there's nothing there. The lights come on on the dashboard but there's no turn over.
Steve
hmm it may be the car has lost the key so to speak or the alarm has locked itself. is it a manufacters alarm or aftermarket?
perx
I think it is the manufacturers alarm, its in a casing that I cant get into in the right of the boot... What do you think? Is there anything I can do to re-set it and get the car started up?
Steve
have you tried resetting the ECU again by disconnecting battery again for 10 mins then reconnecting? just to see if it did not set correctly before? what does it say in the manual?
