Hello,

First off apologies if this is in the wrong place.

I
have a 2003 Ford Fiesta, and the passenger side rear door trim came
off. I bought a new genuine part, and am having trouble fitting it.

Here is the new part I have bought:

Here is where I am trying to attach it:

These white plastic clips are causing me the issue:

I
need to remove them to insert the new ones on the new trim, but I
cannot get them out. Look at the new one, they seem to have plastic
clips which will grip the inside of the door, to make sure they don't
come out (easily).

Anything I'm doing wrong?

The clips do pull out.

I replaced one of mine a few years back, when another one started to go I used some black silicone rubber to secure it.

What did you use to get them out?

I've tried using pliers and basically the whole car moves before the clips do, and even then they're no closer to coming out.

I used a narrow bladed screwdriver to press one side of the clip over, this allows you rotate the clip enough to keep that side out whilst you do the other side. It is fiddly to do though. I used a silicone glue and reused the old trim.
