Focus Rs Nav/interior Lights Failure :(

Hi,

I've got a Mk2 Focus RS. 2010 plate.

I started my car the other day - and noticed that the Sat Nav/Stereo/Camera didn't switch on. no power to it nothing - this includes the Power supply to the climate control as it's all built in.

I initially thought a fuse could have gone - so i checked them and nothing - all metered and correct. then i noticed that the interior lights aren't working either - little confused as to why they'd be on the same circuit...

Has anyone got any ideas? or experience in this issue? I'm thinking it could be a relay of some sort - but not sure if the relay would be replaceable or not...

Neither of them come on when the car is started = which there are no problems doing - runs fine - everything else works fine (headlights/speed/turbo gauge/indicators) just the stereo system and interior lights....

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Do you know where the battery saver relay is? what happens when the ignition is on - i'm assuming the ignition would by-pass the relay?

The relay is shown as an internal component of the passenger junction box (not replaceable). If it was replaceable it would be shown with a relay number and connectors, it is just drawn as part of a circuit so its internal.

The ignition does not by-pass the relay.

From checking the wiring diagram all power you have missing comes through this relay, either the relay is not switching, there is a bad connector from the junction box to the wiring harness or the 12v feed is missing.
