I fitted one on my previous car (focus 1.8tdci) without issue's, but wondering if this will constantly trigger the EML on the fiesta, or in fact be totally fine. Just be sure that you got a stainless steel one and not aluminium but you more than likely already knew that! I would just feel guilty if you didn't and didn't mention it.
