FOCA Posted October 9, 2014 Share Posted October 9, 2014 Hello and welcome to the club! some "informations" - Its reconed though an open K&N can improve throttle response when the underbonnet temp is low, and give the illusiion of more power (especially with the noise it makes) - it is widely accepted it loses power when it draws underbonnet heat - a fully encapsulated filter (eg the stock intake with a panel filter, or a specificaly designed encapsulated intake- even K&N make them ) is better/ recomended its interesting that you wrote "K&N open filter" Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
