connor_4321
Hello, I've just signed up so sorry if this is in the wrong section. Just wondering if anyone here can help, been looking for a private number plate for the past few weeks and come across www.absolutereg.co.uk .... They are cheaper than the DVLA even with all the transfer fees etc ! I was looking for something to represent my name CONNOR or initials CSS - Any ideas would be good :) Please don't say CON17OR - I wish but can't afford nearly £9000 ! Haha
Dave754
Plates that represent names usually are the more expensive ones as you've already discovered with the one @£9k ! A more affordable option would be your initials on a prefix or suffix registration as the dateless plates tend to be dearer. I don't recall using absolutereg.co.uk, but when I bought my private plate I found it cheaper on one of the plate sellers websites but you HAD to also have the plates made by them which were double the price I could get them made on eBay. I ended up buying my reg. no. from DVLA and plates made from eBay which worked out cheaper. Don't pay to have any of the websites do the transfer for you, it can be done quite easily yourself for the price of a stamp! Andy.B1971
I did the same as David , Plate came from DVLA and Number plates from a company I found through google. I had my initials at the end and a meaningful letter and 2 numbers in front , had to play it sensible as like you say some configurations and blooming expensive..... :D :D :driving:
higgsy
Mine represents my nick name and was only 250 :D
higgsy
I would go with and old style number plate. Example T25 CSS is 250 on DVLA registrations
