Mk.3 Wiper Blades

Hi guys.

Recently changed my Wiper Blades due to drivers blade juddering all over the screen.

However, new blades are doing the same thing?

I feel that they should have a smooth resistance free movement.

Ideas?

In some cases the behaviour of the wipers on the screen can be influenced by their 'angle of attack' and could be down to something more fundamental like the positioning of the wiper motor or the brackets it locates to.

How to fix that is another matter though :(

Have you tried any sorts of windscreen polish to see if that helps?

Rainx is of limited use around town. But on motorways it's pretty good. I've only been using a couple of weeks. For initial application, make sure the glass and wipers are immaculately clean!! (You can even put a bit of RainX on the wipers)

Juddering wipers can also be down to the linkages - give them all a clean and lube up

Can't hurt to try, either rainX or perhaps a dedicated glass polish like Autoglym.

Is it literally a case of flipping one round? ECP seem to list them listed as (pair) and (right) only?

Go to the ECP website and stick your reg in, they only show what fits your car then (most of the time)
