Well a Bmw tried to wear my car like a hat!

Ouch! That looks nasty... were you in the car at the time? If so, hope you weren't hurt.

Glad to see you got the insurance sorted and have the car back as it was.

Did you have to tell the other insurance company where you got your mods from. So you got the exact same parts replaced.?

There's an important moral in this story-
When it comes to insurance DECLARE EVERYTHING or prepare to be stuffed in the event of a RTI.

Glay they replaced like for like! The last thing you want is them putting the rear end back to standard. After all your hard work. Colour match looks good too 👍

Take it easy on the back. Plenty of rest is needed. Dont want future problems. Nothing worse than back pain.

Major Update!
17230265_1392691400795035_241788909_o (1).jpg

Since the car was in the crash I haven't been really fit enough to give car a good clean etc but had first wash at end of January. So now that I can clean it. I thought to start again so I called a favour with a friend got gearbox replaced and left Bluefin behind and went for REVO! so after a service I called up and got an appointment and
OMG WHAT A DIFFERENCE!

Bluefin is good but....
Bluefin is really good but all power was low down so when changing gear the car wanted to rev further hence why I think it chewed up my Synchro and I don't even drive my car hard. It broke leaving traffic lights after a long motorway journey back from ford fair lol

With Revo its has totally changed he car! the power comes from the start if you wanted to but if you drive normal it will be very smooth and lovely under 2k revs the cars giving me a extra 3mpg! but when you want power your off! The car really flies with the power at your will! the car is really smooth and now with engine and exhaust note changed it sounds like a proper car!

When going in the car needed a update as it was running a standard map from 2012! There was a dip in the power as you will see from the graph. After remap the line was a little wobbly at places but it smoothed out as he had to update old map it forgot my 99ron and mods but standard car was running 131bhp! that is 8bhp more than standard with mods and premium fuel!

STANDARD MAP (Look at that poor DIP! )

Remap and Standard car
17237097_1470447339663063_1379609508_o (1).png

Car now running 167.8BHP with 142.8WHP with 199LB-FT torque (269.8NM) the guy did suggest i got a Intercooler to keep temps down which I am currently going to do.
the graph did get smoother but this is only graph i managed to get after it all but being around 167BHP is good for me! On the graph it is standard car and remap.

Progress Update
Since My cars been back I wanted to quieten it down a little by sound deaden it a bit so I added sound deadening to all doors and boot and inner boot and it made a massive difference the car is a lot more quieter and the Sound is a lot more clearer.

@D13 HPD 95 Masive i got silent coat 30sheets for 33 quid so good deal I used 2.5-3 sheets for front doors and 2 sheets for rear and covered boot and some on tailgate too as for my subwoofer it has increased sound quality night and day the bass is smooth and non distorted the sound is clearer and some songs ye can even hear the breath of the person singing! for road noise it reduces it quite a bit so a win win all round ps still left with enough sheets to do missus car doors :)

If it's that kind of price it's a no brainer, I hope the customs place here is a good price. Hard to say though as there is no competition round here so they can pretty much charge what they want
