FORSCAN is the best but you need a modified ELM cable to get the best from it.

hi,i have ford fusion 1.4 2005 model car.. my car has the problem with the throttle body...so the garage man recommended me to replace it...

if i buy a used one or new one,do i need to reprogrammed it with my car???

Throttle body should be a straight swap if that is the issue

Hi,thanks for your replay...if I buy a used one(I mean,from the same model) after I fix it, do I need to reprogram it on my car...one of my college says that,still I may need to reprogram it to make suitable with my car...

I don't believe so, especially if the parts numbers are the same, it's only if the parts are completely different.

hi,sorry for the late reply... I used a diagnostic program myself with forscan and found a fault code... I couldn't clearly understand the error details...
it was..

Code: P2119 - Electronic throttle position controller - throttle flap malfunction.

Status:
- DTC Present at Time of Request
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp is On for this DTC

Module: Powertrain Control Module

Diagnostic Trouble Code details

Electronic throttle position controller - throttle flap malfunction.

Refer to TSB number 76/2003

Throttle plate has not moved to the requested position in the required time.

Remove the duct and check for an obstruction at the throttle plate.

Check the throttle plate for evidence of mechanical damage.

Faulty ETB motor voltage

Check the ETB connector for damage.

Faulty ETB

battery Voltage Low

This DTC may be caused by :

Check fuses.

Power supply to fuse

Discharged or faulty battery.

Check the condition of the battery.

Check the battery charging system.

Check the connector for damage or contamination.

Check the connectors and wiring harness for damage or contamination.

Check the wiring and the appropriate fuse.

High resistance in wiring

Additional Information

The ABS lamp should be illuminated.

The ESP lamp should be illuminated.

There will be an ESP malfunction warning displayed on the driver information text panel.

so does the error details mean,do i need to replace the throttle body or....????

Probably means you need to clean it and the connectors rather than replace straight up.
