I was thinking between 1500-1800 so 1700 sounds good to me. I'd definately rather take the time to market it myself :)

Going to refurb the wheels myself MCM style after Ford fair.. no free time before now :(

I've sprayed the centre caps aqaurius blue to match the car.. still don't know how it's going to look!

Tried my best to mask the centre up.. and managed to slice my finger open in the process! Fun fun fun!

Now I just need some gel badges for the centre caps and the wheels are ready for Ford fair! :D I wish I could say the same about the rest of the car :(. I spend more time working on other people's than my own

Suppose I should really get some tyres too...

The tyres would be great idea mate,

Prolong the life of the alloy aswell as the paint work,

Some tyres have an additional step on the side wall to protect from kerbing,

Some yellow callipers would really get those poppin mate,

Can i ask; why are you still investing in the mk6 when you were talking about changing it mate?

I had already spent money on an alloy refurb before looking at New cars :(

The tyres that are on the car at the minute have that additional wall so I may end up swapping them over

Those alloys look great on the car mate,

Some paint on the calipers like RS Green would look sweet

Speaking of yellow :)

Ive gone for canarie yellow brake lines from Goodridge,

Purchased them three weeks ago and arrivdd today but ugh no there for a mk1 98-01

I purchased wrong part number with no return as there built to order,

But im on to a winner this time, spoke to hassen whom linked me to the kit he purchased

Yellow is nice

I think either Yellow as above, Lime Green or Dark Gold/Bronze colour to go with your blue paint☺

I'm thinking yellow!

Update;

Arrived home at 23:30 tonight and decided it would be a good time to level the headlights off ready for Sunday as the passenger side sits lower than the drivers side.

I grabbed the tools, switched the ignition on and turned on the headlights.

5 minutes later I had adjusted both headlights, they're both now slightly higher and level.

I then went to start the engine to "top up' the battery. Flat as a !Removed!!

In the end I had to grab the card for the trusty Renault and pull it from behind the car to level with and jump start it. Took it for a good blast around some country roads (careful on the corners after last time ;) ) and recharged the battery. The headlights are truly amazing now, if I do say so myself. I'm VERY satisfied with the projector install. The battery on the other hand.. not so much!

Also. I spoke to Mitch from inspired automotive yesterday and I've arranged for a set of Inspired Automotive centre caps to be delivered on Friday! I was also expecting a large "teaminspired" windscreen vinyl too but he's having to get some more printed after UltimateDubs! So that's to come in the near future.

Thanks to yunii for sourcing me a mk3 mondeo auto dimming rear view mirror. Cost me £18 with p&p and should be with me for the 4th August.. which I'm pleased to say, I'm not at work till 4pm so I should have time to install! (It's only 2 wires... 3 once I can be motivated to extend the 12v reverse switched from the headunit).

Cant go wrong with a Bosch S4 battery if your looking to change for somthing that can handle accessories such as your mono amp,

Just so happens to be the same colour as your fiesta aswell :)

Not sure which code of Bosch S4 you would require but it will be listed on there website.

Also ensure your cable between the earth terminal and the body of the car is 4AWG or bigger for optimum efficiency.

That's the battery I had noted down from one of your previous posts lenny :p. I even had a part number somewhere! Haha

I'm going to get some updated cabling made up local, but I'm only just getting back on my feet after being well and truly smashed by the tax man.. the joys of being paid monthly -_- thank God for the detailing business... Otherwise id have sold my soul if I had one!

So, the other week Yunii found a mk3 mondeo self dimming mirror on the bay.

I ordered and it was waiting for me when I arrived home from Ford fair on Monday!

Took about 10 minutes to install it after making a makeshift powercable. VERY happy with it!

Also. For those of you who weren't lucky enough to have attended Ford fair (were importing you next year.. we have secret plans) here's a quick snap of how the "refurbished" wheels look with their new centre caps!

I finished the last one at 8:30pm on the 1st of august. We left town at 3am! Haha.. oops! Temporary spray Job for the win

I also spent a little bit of time treating all the exterior trim to a coating of Gtechniq C4 Permanent trim restorer. Thai stuff is amazing!!!! It restored the grey grills to BLACK. they left the factory Grey!!!! It's a clear liquid. Goes on like a dream, and lasts for over 24months!!!

It also beads like crazy! Should save me some time during washes now

Whilst on the Gtechniq theme.. I've sealed all the fabrics in the car, my new Adidas Gazelles, the girlfriends Nike roshi Runs, a friend's convertable roof off around 300ml of their smart fabric!!!! Sheets like crazy.. yet when dry you can't even tell it's there!
