Copper ribbon on the parcel shelf mounting pins?

Perhaps Powering parcel shelf Speakers via copper on the parcel shelf posts at either side,

Would work but may lose touch on a bumpy road and as the copper oxodizes with the free radicals in the air around us.

AutoLeads supply connectors which are very good👍

Or

powering boot lighting via same method

I hope this theroy is wrong; due to fire risk through exposed live contacts and arking of electricity.

insulated crimp terminals much safer if this is the case.
