The Dark Knight Posted November 9, 2014 Share Posted November 9, 2014 Always wondered about this, so why not ask those with knowledge! 10 years ago, I had a Focus 1.6 LX manual. A guy at work had the 1.6 auto. Can anyone tell me how good or bad the petrol auto was/is? The only auto I have owned was a Freelander 2 and although it was fine under normal driving, I hated kickdown because (being a diesel), it revved its head off and just felt jerky. jeebowhite Posted November 27, 2014 Share Posted November 27, 2014 Auto was great (drove it once before) and its perky, but MPG was shocking on the car I drove (well, its an auto and a petrol....).
