ed12
Picked up my replacement company car yesterday! - Apologies for the lack of quality, didn't have the dslr to hand! All was going so well, she's a beauty to drive! Then at work today, she got covered in paint :/ Head to toe. Not seen how bad in the light yet, dreading the morning. I could actually cry, so much. :(

DaveTheDog
Company car?, do you pay company car tax to Inland Revenue?. Not seen red stitching before on Fez leather seats. I had paint splash once and claimed against the painting contractors who were working near my car.
ed12
Indeed I do Dave, are you the tax man checking up? ;) Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
-Sven
I'm not sure about it, but you can try to use a claybar and clay your car. Normally this will do the job and remove the paint. What paint is it? Is it for walls or is it spray paint?
ed12
It's oil based intumescent fire protection paint for steelwork. Work are getting in some cleaning company who seem to think it'll polish out. Will find out next week! :) Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
MattDRX
Should just wash off with a bit of elbow grease, most paints do.

StumpyBloke
Beaut car, and don't object to the bespoke paintwork...some would class it as art :) Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
ed12
Dave - it's somewhere around £35/month I believe. Don't hold me to that though!... Edit - I get back 11p/mile, which the old fiesta was alright with (68mpg and was on 12p but recently changed). I've been hooning this and only getting 52mpg! But it's on Pirelli's so obviously I can't let them go to waste! Stumpy - it is alright on the body work, but over all the glass it's a real nightmare! Wipers grind, as do windows when they go up and down Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
