Hi all, I'm new here... I signed up as i have a problem with my Ford Focus.

Its a W/2000 1.8 Tddi with 115000 miles.

Basically it wont start very easily when its parked uphill. If its on a flat or parked facing downhill its fine and fires up instantly, yet when facing uphill it only just starts after turning it over for about 20-30 seconds.

Any ideas?

Chris

it sounds like you have air getting into the fuel line allowing fuel to syphon back to the tank, check for any sign of leakage at the fuel filter its the most common place for air to get in.
