Hi, having owned a ford of one type or another since I started driving in 1998 it's taken me a while to sign up, but having just purchased an ST170 which is in need of some work I'm hoping that a few of you will be able to offer some advice as we try and get it back to a reasonable standard.

The best car to date (pre ST170) has to be the Mk1 3dr 1.8 petrol focus we had for around 10 years, drove like it was on rails :) It certainly didn't owe us anything by the time we sold it.

Other history includes a couple of fiesta's and a 2010 Focus which I never really got along with (didn't find the build quality as good).

Anyway, hope to speak to some of you on the various forums.
