rhyd86
Having a intermitant fault with my 2009 2.0 tdci focus. when the weather is damp and cold, if i am driving along at 70+ mph, the throttle seems to be unresponsive. There is no rsponse from the throttle if i try to pull away, so i have to stop on the hardsholder turn the car off and back on then it works again. This problem could happen once a week, not happen for weeks on end or even happen two or 3 times a day

jeebowhite
If the fuel filter replacement didn't resolve the issue, did you get any warning lights or errors on the dash?

jeebowhite
That shows its a mechanical failure and I'm still suspicious of air disturbing the fuel mix and cutting the fuel, have you checked fuel lines and made sure there's no air in the fuel filter?
