Fiesta "service Indicator"

Hi

My November 2013 Fiesta is going in for it's first service next Monday and it's just occurred to me that, on most cars we have owned, a 'service indicator' shows up on the display to notify the owner that the car is due for a service but I've not seen the 'service indicator' appear.

The same thing happened with my 2010 Fiesta, is this normal on the Fiesta or, have other owners seen the service indicator pop up and, if so, why am I not seeing the indicator?

Hi David

When I had my 2011 titanium tdci the service indicator did show up I think it was a small picture of a spanner,

I've never seen this on my current 2013 titanium ecoboost even though I run slightly over the twelve months before it was serviced.

Hi Keith

Thanks for the info.

I'm now about two weeks over the date and my car is going in tomorrow for it's first service but, I've still not seen the service indicator and I'll ask why it has failed to display itself tomorrow.

I don't think it was enabled during the PDI?

My Start/Stop is a bit random and I think that there is a software fix for it?

Did you have the fix applied or, is your start/stop ok?
