I do try to live with it but it keeps catching my attention and drives me mad as I use them to tell me if my car is locked

I take it that this is a common fault, I have the same problem only happens now and then, have noticed sometimes happens if i press the button very quickly twice. Is there a period that you should allow between 1st and 2nd press?

have you guys/gals changed a battery recently or removed it and put it back in for any reason I have folding wing mirrors on my mondeo st and have fitted a new battery and some things on the car needed resetting like the windows each window needed the button holding up and holding in for 3 sec and putting it down and holding again for 3 sec maybe you have to do the same for you folding wing mirrors check your manual it does explain how to re program things after battery changes hope this helps
