Hi. I’ve been having this problem for couple of months now. I’ve had new expansion tank and cap, new hoses and pipes fitted and I’ve put the steel seal through my coolant system but after going on the dual carriageway I did 10 miles and noticed my heating inside the car went cold so I got it back home and checked my coolant which is empty again but I’ve not took the cap off to release the pressure yet so waiting for it to go cold to do that, I’m waiting for my mechanic to come out and have another look at it as he told me it’s possibly head gasket that’s why we put the steel seal through it. I’m thinking it’s possibly thermostat or water pump now

any ideas please? It’s a 2010 Ford smax 1.8tdci
