Dorian
Hi all, new guy here. I've got a bit of a silly question here - in the Mk 5, how do you identify which engine you have? Specifically, I've always been told I've got a 1.3 petrol (second-hand car, so I had to go on what the seller's paperwork told me), but the image in the manual doesn't look at all like what's actually in the car - in fact, it looks exactly like either the 1.4 or 1.6. So is there a label, sticker, imprint, different part, whatever I can use to see which engine I actually have? Or is the manual just a misprint? gaz6076
If it's a 1.3 it will have endura-e written on the rocker cover either with a green on black background

No other markings that I can see. Isn't there an engine code on it somewhere?
