Hi I'm new to this just wondering if you could help the engine malfunction sign has just came on my car I have a 08 1.6tcdi Ford Focus any ideas what may be the fault? Thanks in advance..

it is impossible tosay what it causing the light without getting the fault codes read from the ecu, any good local garage should be able to do this for you.
