Air Con On Ford Focus

When I have my car heating on for a good few mins the A/C decides to switch it self on. Why is this can anyone help??

Do you mean the A/C light or you can hear it clicking in and out?

If the light is going out, it probably needs servicing/re-gassing.

if you are on windscreen only it will switch AC on as standard

Ah I think I read it wrong, I thought it was turning itself off.

Yeah if turning itself on, it is probably set to windscreen. It does it automatically.

Ya its when I'm driving and put heater on it comes on but now I think it's because I leave it on window screen and put blowers on, well that's what ford said just lol

Also I didn't know I had heating mirrors lol. When you switch back window heater on the mirros heat up too. Haha winner :)

Yeah that's standard on ford these days lol but yeah I recon the ac is due to windscreen
