salsheikh
Has anybody tinted their headlights using window tint film to get that darker look? I thought about using the fly eyes kit but was put off by a few people who said a lot of muck get stuck in between the holes and this can distort the light beam. Any downsides to the window tint film other than the fact it will be on the outside instead of the inside?

rubytoot
Hi, I've had my focus's headlights and tail lights tinted using a fly eye type stuff for about 6months now and have no problems at all with things getting in the holes. Just keep your headlights clean and its no bother...
artscot79
honestly fly eyes is crap the amount of light it cuts out is over the stated 10 percent and a pain to remove without some damage to the lights drive a dirty road and you can keep them clean if you stop every 10 mins as for the film again i didnt like how much light it cut even on a light smoke fly eyes a con hence why my money was returned and a new light unit sent out after it damaged it
