Ian,

If your mobius is fixed/only used in the car I recommend a super capacitor, this will never go flat, easy to fit & doesnt get affected be excessive heat in the weather.

Yeh I've seen others set theirs up with a capacitor, at the minute I'm not bothered for hard wiring it into the car,

I drive works van from time to time and I like having it in my bag ready to go,

When new and fully charged, it would last the full week for the short trips to work and back.

Same Road, Another Idiot

Another idiot who walks in front of my car, ignorant Euro Trash this time,
I think I'll be really glad for the camera very soon at this rate.

Roundabout Standstill

The idiot in the oncoming Fiesta (signaling right) had forever to get into that roundabout to turn right ,
their right side was blocked anyway so they could have gone straight into it,
then all the traffic on their right was clearly going left, they had priority over me and I was waiting patiently,
finally gave up and went ffs.

Roundabout Divs

2 Little annoyances within 30 seconds on this roundabout today,
Little white van is going around with both indicators going (hazards),
2015-07-12%20Hazard%20Van.jpg

Then a 'Road Runner' Taxi flies at the roundabout stopping 6 feet into lane one,
this scares the Corsa in front to brake (and rightly so, I would have too), had my attention been elsewhere I could have hit the Corsa.

How do you hit a kerb like that?, luckily she's not got alloys because she was very close the hitting the wheel.
"No darling, you can't take the RS to the shops........ever" :P

Typical Audi

This Audi was behind the Ambulance in the left lane, me and the other car were up to 35mph on a 30mph road,
he passed us doing about 50mph just to undertake us, changing lanes 3 times to gain himself 10 yards, well done you.....!sausage!.

Check Your Distance

This guy in front of me couldn't see the BMW in front stopping to turn right,

So he didn't realise the van in front was stopping and not just slowing for the speed bump and almost ended up in the back of it.

Sorry to hijack your thread Raider.

I've just ordered two Mobius cameras and a hardwire kit to fit into my ST.

They are sending a piggy back fuse holder. There are two options, a mini blade (ATM/ATP) and standard blade type (ATO/ATC).

Which would I need?

Sorry mate I've no idea,

I'm still running mine off battery and just pop it in the window with a suction cup.

A full guide can be found here by mixmasterlooney

http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/tutorials/article/229-dash-cam-hard-wiring-mobius-actioncam/%20under%20the%20guides%20sections

I'll probably use this myself when/if I ever do a hard install.

I used a mini blade piggyback on the fuse board (mk3)

Why Brake There?

Old guy in a Honda Jazz decides to stop on a green light,
Focus behind him wasn't too happy about that.

Suicidal Pedestrians

More pedestrians who can't see my car coming,
First the young lady barely looks and is just out of range,
But the div further up actually looks at me 'twice' and still attempts to walk into the road,
he was only saved by his more intelligent other half.

Experienced something very similar a few months ago. Turning right at a traffic signal junction when the old man in front stops at signals to let a pedestrian cross!!!

Junction in question:

My Best Dash-Cam Video........Ever

Really chuffed when I saw a Huey fly by in the distance,
Went to check it out and it landed right next to me.
Update:
The 4K footage I captured on my LG G4 phone if you're interested.

Blooming Biker

Why do Bikers get a bad name?
"I have Bike, Therefore I go first".....said every biker ever.
There were 3 cars in the left lane and 2 in the right at the lights, he went straight between us at 30mph,
Good job he was such a noisy tool (you can hear him approaching),
I looked in mirror and saw him coming and knew exactly what he was going to do.
Cherry on the cake at the end, I'll just stop here, right in front of you.....peasant.

Impatient Belltop

This idiot can't wait 2 seconds for the car in front to turn left,
he makes a sharp move to get around it and doesn't see the car coming out of the same junction.
Even the car he nearly hit kept coming and didn't wait for him to get out the way.

Good footage there Ian, especially the c u next Tuesday in the Peugeot. I've got some footage of an idiot biker saved on my memory card but I've not had time to upload it yet. He overtook me and others on a single lane slip road to join the A38.

There are arrows on the said slip road to say get in lane and chevrons. He overtook on the chevrons between me and the grass bank which slopes down to the main carriageway. Berk!

I thought having a dash-cam would benefit me with reducing car insurance the next time around if I proved I use one,

But the more idiots I capture on camera in my local area, I suspect my Insurance Company would more likely put 'UP' my insurance

if they saw my footage, they would think it is worse than what they already think it is (and that's not good already!!).

I can imagine the conversation now,

Insurer: So you see these kind of incidents on a regular basis?

Me: Yes.

Insurer: Sorry, we can no longer insure you.

Me: !Removed!

Leap Before You Look

More Pedestrians leaping in front of me,
They'd rather get run over than use a crossing on a busy road.

People On Phone Today

Caught a couple of people on their phone while driving today.
First from work van catches a lady with mobile phone over the steering wheel,
take note of the cyclist ahead of her past the car infront.
I noticed the guy in the red van on the phone when he was behind me at a previous set of lights,
getting worried he was gonna end up in my bumper so was keeping an eye on him.
