Hi I Have A Max 16 Diesel I Am Just Wondering Is It Right For The Fan To Be On After A Long Run Out

Yes

Basically the fan will stay on if the Passive regeneration is running to clear the DPF out. Its completely normal.

Hi Thanks for that just had a new DPF fitted last week at ford I was a bit worry why the fan was on after a long run

yeah its normal, basically when the car gets up to temperature it starts a regeneration process. This involves burning more fuel to increase the heat, which means the engine gets hotter. So the fan comes on and cools the engine during the process...
