Little-Court Posted February 15, 2015 Share Posted February 15, 2015 Hey Guys, This is my baby when I first Brought her, She is my second car, but my first fiesta. I have had her for under a year and over that period i have made a few small modifications. The first little modification that I made was to change the ford badges. (Slightly gutted as if I knew they were going to stop making them I would have brought one for my steering wheel) The second modification was to have my (colour changing Pioneer) stereo fitted, which I had not long had fitted in my previous car. <_< Once my stereo was fitted, the next thing was clearly to fit and set up my sub woofer. (Closer to being a Girl-racer) B) :D I didn't have any more plans for my car until I came across some nice looking racing pedals, when I was out shopping with my stepdad for car cleaning products. (These bad boys obviously didn't stay on the shelf long, they came home with me and were fitted the next day) :) The next little idea that I had was to change the interior light from the original bulb to a LED green bulb to match the colour of my car. Following that little mod I then ordered some more LED bulbs this time white ones to replace the original bulbs above my number plate. :) The last modification and so far the biggest.....I had my back and rear windows tinted. This has been something I have been thinking about for a while and have finially had it done. WOOHOO I was planning to have racing stripes added, that went from the front over the bonnet along the roof and down the back. However I have since changed my mind and think that they may ruin the look of my car. Does anyone else have any ideas of what I could do next to my little beast? Little-Court Posted March 19, 2015 Author Share Posted March 19, 2015 Hey guys, does anyone know what type of paint I would need if I wanted to get my plastics done in black, as I don't want it chipping off in a week. It is something I could buy say from Halfords and do myself? I read somewhere that if I used a primer and then the black on top that would work, but worried that I will get the wrong type of paint. blue crush Posted March 19, 2015 Share Posted March 19, 2015 Best way to do it is time and patience with prepping the plastics. Sanding down the texture to a smooth surface with wet and dry sandpaper - use water also. Will take time but worth it to prevent flaking paint. But looking on eBay under Ford parts has given me some of my little ideas. It does help that my mate is really in to cars so I also get ideas off him.
