Four times I wrote that post then thought "nah it's a juvenile comment" but fifth time around; well I got sick of talking myself out of posting it 😁

I don't like that earlier I had a malformed poo bag on my roll, where the heat sealed bottom had some how missed the sealing part in the bag factory:ohmy:

I picked up Pipper's mid-morning poo, inverted the bag to tie it: whereupon the contents fell out of the unsealed bottom and decorated my boots:sad:  Why does bag failure occur when the poo is soft putty and not when it's firm and crumbly?

I don't like that Poole Council have increased the cost of the chargeable garden waste bin again this year:sad:

Whilst it's optional (having the service: not paying for it), it is convenient for the garden waste that can't be composted successfully, or is too big to shred into mulch but not big enough to season for firewood, or is a semi-invasive plant at will readily re-sprout from the tiniest piece (ivy, some brambles, Sarcococca and buddleia).  Having a bin also keeps in the interiors of both Foci free from absconding slugs and snails and puddles draining from the bags of shrubbery: which would be the case,  if I don't use a bin and had to take it to the recycling centre.

I also don't like treading in some semi hidden fox poo (or possibly badger) on lawn when I went out to pick up after Pipper's pre-tea ablutions:sad:

Some councils in Scotland have said they intend to start charging an annual fee of £30 for garden waste collection, instead of it being free as it currently is.  Well, when I say "free" I mean we don't explicitly pay for it.  Nothing is really free when you consider how much is paid in council tax etc...

free!! if only. i have to pay around £50 a year for garden waste collection. but cheaper than bagging up and a 18mile round trip to recycle centre multiple times a year.

Our was "free" until January 2012 and then they decided to charge separately for it

That's more than Poole Council charge, mine has just gone up to £38

I don't like having a panic attack whilst driving home from work...  Started to feel breathless which is not all that uncommon given my couch-potato lifestyle and the fact I smoke, but then the palpitations, chest pains/tightness, and dizziness started to come into play.  Managed to get home, then almost passed out walking from the car to the front door!!

That's the first time it has happened whilst driving, and I actually don't know what triggered it.  I had a terrible nights sleep last night and the usual stressful day at work today, so I guess that was enough.

Come to think of it, my blood pressure has been sky-high today also, as I've had frequent "sparkles" in my peripheral vision when walking etc...

That doesn't sound good, try to cut back on the booze + late nights, and try go to bed earlier than usual tonight. Maybe a trip to the doc is in order?

Ironically I haven't had an alcoholic drink for three nights and went to bed at 21:30 last night, so did everything "by the book" for once and look what happened!!

I think I'll go back to Gin & Tonics and late nights...  Joking aside, I may well book a doctors appointment, but not sure what good it would do as they never seem to actually listen to me (or maybe I'm not "convincing" enough).

Neither do they to me either - just a lot of head nodding, and then they send you off on your way!

Keep going back until someone listens to you!

A few years ago I wasn't feeling well, went to docs, diagnosed with low sodium....had to add salt to everything for a fortnight. No difference, different doc diagnosed that I wasn't breathing correctly!!! Needless to say that was a load of cr*p and after getting the 3rd or 4th doctors appointment I saw a specialist and was diagnosed with MS! A bit different to what I had been told!

What I'm trying to say is, YOU know when you're not feeling right and it's up to YOU to push for the correct diagnosis!

Good luck ;-)

You do need to go and have a discussion with your doctor about your symptoms. No one on an online forum can tell you exactly what happened, and those symptoms alone should get you assessed pretty thoroughly.

(witnessed today) I don't like people impeding emergency vehicles by pulling to the right side of a multi-lane road - why not just pull to the left like pretty much everyone else?

I've already discussed those symptoms last year, and they did some blood tests and nothing came back, so I'm left in a situation where if I go again I'll just be told "you've already been assessed for that".

As for other drivers reactions to emergency vehicles, I have seen the same.  Some drivers seem to panic and just keep driving, or STOP right in the middle of the road where they are driving!!

I was driving down a 30MPH town road a few months ago and a police car was coming the opposite way (towards me) with its sirens and lights on.  The car in front of it slowed down to a crawl but DID NOT move to the side of the road, forcing me to slam on my brakes in order to give the police car space to speed past.  If I hadn't then it would have been stuck behind that idiot for God knows how long.

I had those symptoms about 8 years ago out of the blue, my doctor did an ECG there and then, bloods, and referred me for an echocardiogram, a 24 hr ecg, and referral to a cardiologist. Go back to your GP, and say you've had a reoccurrance of the symptoms.

I don't like losing the brakes on the Ghia an hour ago... Was driving at 50 MPH on a main road and almost missed a junction so applied the brakes quite firmly (nobody was behind me so it would have been safe) only for the pedal to go straight to the floor!

Fortunately the handbrake on that car is very good and I managed to pull over on that, and as I was very close to home managed to get it home with what little brakes I had left.

Just before stopping at the house the brake warning lamp (finally) came on so say there was low fluid... Really!? You don't say! Having checked under the bonnet, the reservoir is dry. I had checked it this morning and it was full.

So obviously it has blown a brake line. I'm just very grateful that it did not happen in an emergency stop situation, or when my mother was driving it (as she was yesterday).

The MOT expires in two weeks and to be honest I'm tempted to cut my loses and sell it for spares. I know I could get another Focus for the same as it would cost to fix and MOT this one.

I'm very disappointed but hey ho, that's how my life has been going as of late.

I don't like the fact I've got the dentist on Friday for filling my dust one (not bad for 37) and to top it off I've now got to have one removed that snapped off, eating a piece of chicken of all things!

I don't like having to list the Ghia for sale for spares/repairs...  But, I just don't have the funds to get the brake line (O/S/R as it turns out) replaced, plus probably the other three as they will all be at the same stage of corrosion, and whatever else it will no doubt need for the forthcoming MOT.

See the "do like" thread for its replacement...  Not another Focus, which is a dislike, but a decent car at a great price.

i don't like misreading 2012 for 2017 and spending most of the morning looking for a transaction that didn't exist (in January 2017 but did in 2012) in my last quarter's accounts:sad:

Sausages I've found can conceal surprising things that can break teeth.

Oddly enough, I've got to go to the dentist tomorrow but that's for just my regular 6 month check-up, rather than to have anything done as such

I have the dentist next week to fix 3 broken teeth.
They are teeth that were smashed a few years back when some little scrot decided that my teeth should meet his heel as he shinned over a fence, however now the cosmetic repairs have decided that they want to be brittle and fall apart all at the same time.
My mouth looks like a car crash for now, the dogs have better teeth than me at the moment.

Oh dear Stoney. Not good about the cosmetic repairs failing after just a few years. May be worth contacting the repairers to get their opinion on a free repair.
