Phil 87
I don't like the idea of heading back to the UK on Wednesday...it's sunny and 26c here in Cyprus! :( It's foggy and 9°C here <_<

jeebowhite
Highest in Kent van only have been 15 degrees recently. I don't like fog on motorways. I prefer to see where I am heading. Never been a fan of driving into a wall and that's the feeling I have driving in fog. Just waiting for that wall of cars to splatter into. jmurray01
16C at the moment & sunny here . . . :) About the same here in Scotland. I'm one of those people who is never happy (can you tell!?). As much as I hate the snow, I equally hate the heat, unless I have no work to do and can lie on a deck-chair with a beer and a cigar. Out of the two I would rather deal with colder temperatures, as you can always put more layers on to warm up. When it is too hot (especially unseasonably) there is a limit to how many layers you can remove before you're reported for indecent exposure... Of course it doesn't help my frustration that the air conditioning in the Nissan has the same cooling qualities as a cheap hand-held fan, but I refuse to get it re-gassed as I know the day I do it'll suddenly start snowing - just like it suddenly got really warm as soon as I fitted winter tyres. SeanW
Being dragged over to FOST for no reason other than the XO wanting to catch up with his former Fosties :-( I'm not going to get anything out of the visit after lunch. Nor are any of the other officers going!
jmurray01
Having 9 days off work (the last of my annual leave) and sitting here preparing to go back this afternoon for a 15:00-23:00 shift. Lovely.

jmurray01
W.O.R.K. should be a banned four letter expletive :) Indeed it should. In fact, I only use the word "work" when I'm in ear-shot of my bosses. Informally it is known as "hell". Much more appropriate word.

SeanW
Last night I had a dream where all my annual leave simply disappeared, and I was stuck working in the office over the entire Christmas period. :oI had a dream the other night that I'd been sent back to primary school & was forced to have a nap (yes, in my sleep) by an absolutely stunning female teacher covered from head to toe in blue paint.Whilst trying to get into the child-sized beds for nap-time, assassins struck and tried to kill me with IED's - IED's that I managed to diffuse with sellotape (other clear sticky tapes are available). It was like being in my very own action movie...it was awesome!! Unfortunately I was woken up before I managed to subdue the assassins :-(

jeebowhite
Haha your dreams seem awesome. I must admit I don't tend to remember mines, bar the odd one or two, but ied saviour sellotape is awesome. I hate silver ka's, I've had two now which can't use roundabouts, which leads me to hating people who can't use roundabouts, its a damned simple principle! Then idiots on managed motorways who ignore the enforced speed limit and drive up your jacksie trying to force you out the way. One lorry succeeded the other day and I had to speed near a camera for fear of being rear ended and shoved under the axle of another truck. Time will tell if I have been caught buy at least I left that situation in tact. Also I hate the m25, its awful. Not even the traffic which is bad, but the areas near Cobham and clackett lane services with concrete motorway are irritating. Driving over that sounds like you just burst four bearings and tyres at the same time, an awful feeling. jeebowhite
I don't like that some companies offer you protection for an item but when the returns postage costs half the price of the item and they won't refund the return postage then you get left with the cack you bought or you return it and your still out of pocket. The joys of buying from China... Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
jmurray01
I don't like finally getting a decent nights sleep and waking up with that great feeling of a bed that's just the right temperature and just the right light-level, only to realise I need to get up for a 12-8 shift. Why can't I wake up like that on a day-off?

Phil 87
^ Yeah that's always how it is when I wake up too, when I actually have nothing to do and could have a lie in I always just want to get up lol. But maybe that's because I don't have my alarm set on weekends so I wake up naturally, instead of by the 120dB noise of my phone alarm.
