Hi people looking for some advice ,

I'm in the middle of putting an rs mk5 lump in to a mk6 escort

(Build thread coming soon)

My question is about the wiring loom , and I can't seem to find a straight answer anywhere on the web ,

Do I have to change the complete loom?

Or can I just change the ecu loom , engine loom and dash loom ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :) thanks

Not sure mate whether there is much of a difference really I wouldn't mind looking into it as thinking of doing that myself I would hope it's just a straight swap of the engine loom for the ecu or just a swap of ecu like the bmws I had before going back to a ford escort again

Hi tom just looked get a 2.0 black or silver top and loom is same easier and cheap to tune and may involve some pinetums changing for the ecu but easy there are guides out there

Give the guy a chance. That was only 8 years ago, he's still working on it 🤣
