iantt
at last my partner has come her sences and bought a fiesta instead of a mini!!! took a while but i kept on at her until she gave in. 16 plate titanium 125 ecoboost. part ex her trusty 59 plate honda jazz 78k with full service history... cough cough. well in 78k it has had 1 oil filter change and 2 oil changes, set of front and rear pads, and 6 tyres (4 of which only put on not long ago) still on original spark plugs, air filter, pollen filter. lol

tazzman600
I like how silky smooth my cars gear changes are now after getting it in for a service and MOT with gearbox oil n filter change. Had to have new rear trailing arm bushes fitted and new rear discs n pads plus brake fluid renewal. So a happy bunny even after paying just over a grand but my car is worth it coz of what it is. Phil21185
Holy crud I would literally turn my pants brown if presented with a thousand quid bill for the car!
SeanW
I did the rear trailing arm bushes myself!! Bit of a pig, but after being quoted £450+VAT I laughed and googled it - easy job...or so I thought...The old bushes were rather well...umm...attached lol You no longer need to replace the whole trailing arm...Ford "invented" a tool to press the old bushes out. It's a screw down press with a couple of notches for the bush housing to fit into. Cheap(er) knock offs are available...
tazzman600
Wow Sean 450 + vat? Mine only cost 245 all in to do but like I said my car is worth spending money on coz they're rare cars and mine is one of the best titanium x sport ecoboost mondeos there is. GMX
I do like how easy it was to set up a Twitter account for Pipper. I also like that although they've come from various suppliers by different couriers, all the parts I ordered for the rear axle, all turned up today, between midday and 3pm
Lenny
I do like receiving delivery of some white Milano Aruba horizontal radiators today along with minimalist angled chrome valves all from bestheating.com completing the change to Milano throughout the house, Just gotta wait now for next month before the plumber can install. I'm filling and painting the walls in the meantime as the pipes will exit out from the wall instead of up from the floor when installed 👍 Bit easier to do upstairs as it's all plastic pipe work. Here's the living room one we done last year
Phil21185
I do like receiving my illuminated scuff plates nearly a month earlier than expected! China specials but actually look pretty sweet for the price! Write up on my build thread in a few days then I think it'll be time for a few night shots all round the car!
Phil21185
I also like the post-food-shopping glow of a full fridge! The empty bank account however...not so much.
tazzman600
Blimey someone likes their bottles of pop and juice. No wonder your fridge is full lol
Phil21185
Yeah but it lasts for weeks in our house. You probably wouldn't believe me if I told you that the fruit and veg will be eaten within a week but the ice cream, fizzy drinks and pizzas will be there come next shopping trip!
GMX
Whilst stuck behind the vauxhall combo mentioned on the "I don't like" thread. I do like seeing an oncoming BMW Z4 with a number plate which at first glance said "Pillock": as it drew closer it was actually P111 DCK with a rather curvy D 1
Micro
Productive day today, I like the weather being nice. 2 new boot struts fitted (hoping they will calm down after a bit of use, they're a bit fierce!), and one nice shiny new engine mount Now giving me the urge to clean and blacken the plastics.... GMX
I do like being in the right place at the right time In Tesco's fish aisle, just as the merchandiser was marking down rather a lot of packets of smoked salmon slices. I ended up with 30 of the 200g size for £30; they're normally £5 each. Usually they don't mark anything down drastically until around 7:30pm. I also found 6 packets of lamb hearts, 2 of chicken liver and family pack of chicken thighs for Pipper and Molly in the reduced meat area. I only went in for milk and a couple of avocados
GMX
I do like finding the local ford main dealer (Foray Group) parts counter is considerably cheaper than the online Ford Parts UK (also Foray), 75% cheaper in this case! It just goes to show, online isn't always the cheapest option. However, of my list of 5 parts, they only had the 75% cheaper ones in stock, all the others I've had to order from Ford Parts UK. Stoney871
The thing I am deeply liking right now is that my new ST3 has now arrived in Dagenham from Saarlouis plant having been born on the 26th September.Should be at my dealership later this week and after the PDI should be ready to collect early next week. Now just have to rip out all the mods and get them ready to swap over.Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
