1.6 Diesel Mk2, Power Cuts

Car: 2/2008 late MK2 1.6 tdci 90bhp

Problem: Intermittent fault, power cuts totally for a

split second, it’s so sudden and violent if it’s under load (feels like
it’s going to rip engine mounts off or snap my neck!), that said it's not only under load it happens but does seem to be more often than not. Just realised recently that
it only seems to happen if it’s wet or very damp. Changed crank sensor to no
avail. Someone suggested it’s the electrical part of the EGR affecting crank sensor but my mechanic is adamant it can’t be and I really don’t want to pay over 300€ just to rule it
out.

Surprisingly, no it does not. No DPF eitehr so at least thats less 2 things to go wrong with it?! :)
