Hi

Could you describe the noise a bit more??

Do you hear a knocking noise or a continous groaning noise?

The continous groaning noise could be your power steering pump (if you have PAS)

A knocking noise could be a worn CV joint.

Let us know ;)

I had a similar problem when I first got my srtreetka but it wasn't engine noise. I originally thought it was power steering as my previous ka had problems. The noise occured when going round corners and when steering was getting to full lock. Noise was a bit like grinding plastic. My local garage fixed it by realigning the linings in the front wheel arches as the tyres were catching on them when steering round corners etc. It might not be the same thing but maybe it's worth a check!

Good luck.
