Hi everyone.

I'm Steve and I've just got my first ever ford. It's a focus titanium 2.0l diesel.

Must admit was a bit of an impulse buy which is way out of character for me. It just felt nice to drive.

Actually went out to look at a civic 2.2 d and a mazda 6. Both were bad examples. The girlfriend got me to look at the focus (she's a fiesta driver) but it was a 1.6 and felt pretty gutless. Everything else was really nice though so we found a 2.0l diesel down the road which was much more like it. I'm a little worried about the dpf issues if I'm honest but they seem to be with all diesels. Apart from that I'm generally very surprised with hoe much I'm liking the car. Previous car was a 04 civic type s 2.0l petrol. Pre that I've had a celica vvtli 190, a very brief time with an alfa 147 lol and a heavily modified hyundia coupe (2.0l with custom turbo conversion).

Anyway that's me. Looking forward to speaking to many of you on here.

Actually while I'm here someone might be able to help me. I've picked up a set of cisbo reversing sensors. Going to fit them myself at some point soon. Anyway the kit I have has a cable to connect to the ignition aswell as the normal 2 earth and reverse light. This is because of an issue with modern cars canbus apparently. Not sure how much truth is in that? Is there somewhere in the boot I can connect this to instead of going all the way to the front of the car?
