I found this mess at the weekend and i'm guessing it's linked or at least the cause of my bad vibrations at 50+ (i've tried balancing and tracking). FordMondeo Posted March 9, 2015 Share Posted March 9, 2015 No its not that's the steering rack, looks like you have an engine or gearbox oil leak and its leaked on to the steering rack. It's recently had a new clutch and flywheel, so i wonder if that's why it looks like it has an oil leak as it wasn't fresh and was VERY sludgy?
