Ews
Like so many others I'm gutted about TG. I don't condone what Clarkson did but I don't think it was necessary to give him the bullet! The thought of TG going to ITV is horrifying, they'd ruin it completely. And ITV - that means adverts 😡. Like somebody else said if May and Hammond follow Clarkson out from the BBC and the three of them set up on the FTA channels it would basically be a continuation of TG, seems like a good idea to me. Nevertheless it'll be interesting to see what the Hampster and Captain Slow decide to do.
Phil 87
There's no need to worry about adverts, just record and skip them ;)

Turvey
I feel like punching folk at my work most days but I don't, if I did I would more than likely be sacked, so why should it be different for Clarkson? I am a Top Gear fan by the way ;)
Lenny
I saw a clip on YouTube of James may and he said we come as a package and how top gear will continue but didn't actually say he's walking away but I certainly got that impression. In my opinion TopGear was Jeremy Clarkson, Those guys played a part but back in 90's it was Jeremy Clarkson theres no show without him, The guys just dont have his natural tallent and way with words, Im genuinly gutted to hear todays news, Can imagine getting in to taxi some night and ow Jeremy is this your new job then ?
karlos1987
I think all 3 of them made the show personally. Clarkson was def the main man though. I love mays dry sense of humour.
Philf1
Chris Evans has stated he won't do TG on his show this morning. If the 3 amigos go to any channel it will have adverts they all do so put it on record and watch it after 5 mins. gregers
i agree,i do hope they end up going to commercial rather then sky if they go to sky its to fill there pockets if they go to commercial then its for the greater good of the public. i do understand that violence should be dealt with in the correct manner and they were stuck between a rock and a hard place. youve also got to feel a tad sorry for the producer who i hope wont be targeted by the TROLLS.
jeebowhite
I agree, sympathy for the producer. Its just awful that he is getting on with his life and facing all sorts of death threats and aggressive outbursts. Hopefully they do get picked up to make another release, but earning 40+ million a year for the BBC, it certainly wont be "Top Gear"
jeebowhite
I recon they should have kept it all in house. If it wasnt in the public domain he could have been punished elsewhere...

I agree that Clarkson was the best thing about the show, but I think it was the banter between all three of them that made it great. Especially on all the random car challenges, deliberately driving into eachother and leaving any presenter behind when they break down lol. Here's a good video that I think sums it up:
iantt
Clarkson allready got a new job , my other half said he has joined 1 direction to replace the one who is leaving the boy band, she just shown me a doctored music video on the web, quite funny. troy45
What are the odds the show carries on, but the Stig suddenly puts on a bit of extra weight as well as shouting 'WANT MORE POWER' a lot? New Stig's lap times might go down the pan too ;)
huey45
I hope not I hate that arrogant !Removed!, he had it coming, but honestly I like May and Hamond why should they suffer for his immature boorish, racist actions, enough is enough right decision to get rid of him, take my hat to them, I was attacked when only 17 at work, the other guy did get sacked but I had a broken nose for weeks.. b1g_dav3
Meh it's not all over, look at Johnathon Ross, he was booted and then weeks later back in with the BBC.
jeebowhite
I hope the just move and rebrand top gear. They are considering changing the format of the show sadly.

alexp999
I was thinking that it might actually make sense for the BBC to sell the TopGear brand. It would be worth a lot in its current state as a going concern, for another channel to pick up. They will probably try to keep it going though, but it will never be the same again and will no doubt die of death. I think the brand/show could have survived JC retiring from the show, but not leaving like this.
huey45
I followed it for years and being honest, but it was getting too much off the wall the only I did like was the challenges, stars in the cars no, outbursts, and slagging off groups or ethnics, or deflamatory things also, he did it to self and had to go... alexp999
There is hope for the show yet: Jeremy Clarkson: Return not ruled out, says senior BBC figure Maybe give the show a years hiatus then bring it back with the three of them?
