Messing With Photoshop

Recommended Posts

I'm currently learning a bit about Photoshop and thought I'd try making a logo for this site. What do you think?

How's this?

Like the idea. The F looks like an E. I would try thickening the characters and making them more prominent.

Just another pointer, if you're thinking of doing any semi-serious graphic work I would suggest using Adobe Illustrator. It's a lot more detailed and resolution friendly when working with text/fonts/characters. PS is ok for .jpeg work and textures but for everything else, Illustrator.

I'm just getting used to this. Mainly for photos and stuff but do a few graphics when I'm bored. Illustrator is expensive lol

Have a look at Cinema4D if you're wanting to get into serious graphics.. as you can make practically anything & render it in whatever resolution, quality etc! You can also animate. I like to use it to generate text which I later use in premiere pro/Photoshop CC
