Rocket Scientist Posted March 18, 2015 Share Posted March 18, 2015 The fan on my new (600 miles) C Max 1.6 TDCI came on for 2 minutes after driving 3.5 mile and parking the car and switching off engine. simcor Posted March 21, 2015 Share Posted March 21, 2015 The fan continues for a short while after a DPF regeneration has been attempted or completed, the fan is requested by the PCM to aid cooling while the temps are high for DPF regeneration.
