Remote Central Locking Module

Hi all.

I was wondering would I be able to change my Standard central locking to Remote central locking by changing the Central locking module and obtaining a key fob? I have read that the pre 2001 models can be done this way by changing the module with part number 98 AG 15K600 EB CL DL RF and programming a key fob to it but cant find anything regarding the 01-04 models and was wondering if anyone has any info on this and knows how easy it is to redo all the wires or if i need to do anytjing extra on the old one it has a green plug in to the module and then a blue one next to it not being used.

I dont think its a case of plug and play, you need to make sure the wiring is there and configure the gem board.

There are aftermarket kits that plug in and do the job for you though which may be worth a look
