laumk7
My cars body kit is starting to separate from the bodywork on one side (Side panel near drivers front wheel), I've checked on the other side of the car and that's close, so it's definitely not supposed to be like that. I've called ford who've asked me to go in and get it looked at / sorted, I just wondered if this was a common thing with the body kit? And if it's more worth my while getting the thing removed if it's going to keep doing it Sent from my iPad using Ford OC
Nathan54771
Just needs re tiger sealing at the bodyshop which will be under warranty, then will be fine. Unless your keeping it for 10 years and never want to re tiger seal it again, remove it and waste money.

Nathan54771
They have Obviously just not put enough on in that corner, it happens as its a mass produced fiesta not a bespoke Rolls Royce. Yes, because you said you'd remove it, which will be a waste seen as you paid to have it on the car and will cost you money to remove it.
alexp999
It should be fine once repaired. If you think how many thousand components make up a car, even a 99.9% success/non-failure rate is going to produce some issues. My car arrived from the factory with a rattly exhaust and missing passenger compartment fuse box cover. Both being sorted under warranty - I imagine most factory faults will present themselves within the first year or so, so it will all be under warranty. That is the idea of giving you a 3yr warranty, within that time, everything that could go wrong from a fault should have gone wrong, then it is just wear and tear. Obviously the odd thing might slip through, but if it is a safety problem then they are sorted for free with a recall, and there is always the extended warranty for people (like me) who want a no hassle approach to just being able to take the car back for up to 5 yrs :)
