artscot79
Depends on the year seen a zetec sport only difference was horrid alloys and a sport badge
Dee_82
yeah, I was referring to the facelift version, the 2.5, the standard zetec has the Sport suspension. given the choice id go for the sport, or youll get the standard one and spend the rest of your cars life either trying to make it a sport or admiring it on other peoples cars. I'm not sure about the mk3. some early Mk2.5 or late mk2 had a bastardized look of the two styles, looks a bit daft imo but I guess ford had left overs it needed to shift
blue flash
It's on a 62 plate.I must admit i'm struggling to spot the differences.
Celticfan
Sorry, bit late to the party. As long as it's the Mark 3 Focus Zetec S you're talking about then the basic differences are - Sports suspension Sports seats Side skirts Front spoiler and splitter Rear skirt Large rear spoiler with white high level brake light LED tail lights Centre arm rest Z hand brake Stop/start Keyless start Blue dash lights 17" alloys Park an S next to a standrad Zetec and you'll see the difference
shiwarrior
I was going so say there is no such thing as a "Zetec Sport" theres a SPORT and theres a ZETEC, and then there is the ZETEC S not sure on the Mark 3 though, I haven't looked at those
Celticfan
A 62 plate will be a Mark 3. There were Sport versions of the Mark 2 but I think the Zetec was better specified. There isn't a Mark 3 Sport, there's Studio, Style, Econetic, Zetec, Zetec S, Titanium, Titanium X, ST1,2 and 3, and soon the RS range

shiwarrior
well, in my own opinion, the sport is the ST Zetec S could mean "style" as they dropped the "style" name :D
Celticfan
Shiwarrior, you aren't going to win many friends by suggesting style :-) Style was a basic model. S dedinitely means sports. Notice that's sports with a small s. Although I agree with WES180, special is a good description as well
shiwarrior
oh ok lol I just thought as it added "cosmetics" and no "Engine" modifications, its Stylish! lol
RAIDER32
When Vicky on Fifth Gear reviewed the first Focus ST(170), She said 'ST' stood for 'Sports Technologies', the font/style of Zetec 'S' and ST are the same, so I would imagine it is Zetec Sports. Sports - Styling Technologies - Power/Handling
