Jones93
Hello I have a 1.6 2007 fiesta, is this the same engine as in the focus? if so......... I recently had to change my auxiliary belts as the long one had snapped, after some help on here I managed to fit them easily enough. Drove it for a while then the engine starts stalling when getting the biting point. The car in neutral dies but stays on whilst on accelerator. it then started to make a horrible rattling noise so Ive not turned it on since. I don't think the car over heated when the original belts snapped, I didn't have breakdown cover till the next day so waited till the car cooled till i set of again. I have asked in the focus section to get a wider range of advice. Many thanks Any help appreciated.
