i have a mondeo mk3 tddi and have just change the dual mass flywheel from a 2003 tdci but car starts then cuts out straight away can anyone help

the crank sensor gets it pick up from the flywheel, so fitting one from a different model might affect the signal.

cheers mate have just noticed the timing teeth were diffrent have now changed and now running like a dream
