Magicmushroom2005 Posted April 20, 2015 Author Share Posted April 20, 2015 I was originally nervous about doing it untill i spoke to some lads on here about removing it, It came off easy due to pulling firm in 1 corner and pressing agaist the bumper in the other direction, its a quick guide i cant really write anymore because it was that simple, i didnt use force just slow controlled firm pull and unclipped then slowly worked around and all came out, u must push bumper in slighty when pulling the remaining out, maybe because its a new car it was easy i dont know , im just trying to show people it can be done without breaking it. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

First advising people on doing something wrong doesn't make it ok as long as it worked for the OP, two wrongs don't make a right and all that gubbins Second, I haven't done such a guide you're dead right, why on earth would I advise people on how to do something incorrectly Tell you what, I've dropped many a dish and cup in my time, not all have broken, shall I suggest that as a guide to putting them down? JohnDoe Posted April 20, 2015 Share Posted April 20, 2015 I've got the feeling, it depends on the temperature how easy the grille comes off. When I swapped mine, it was quite cool (7°), so the plastic and the clips seemed quite "stiff". But that's only a guess. Thanks Magicmushroom for the pics! laumk7 Posted April 20, 2015 Share Posted April 20, 2015 ....First thing to do is remove the chrome surround, this is very tricky and there's a high chance that you will break it. Once that's done you'll need to pull the Grille from the car, this too can break so be prepared.... Willy Posted April 20, 2015 Share Posted April 20, 2015 I put together the how to guide when I fitted the grills to my last Fiesta. Not changing them this time round. There all the same to get out. BigDaveZS125 Posted April 20, 2015 Share Posted April 20, 2015 Took me less than 5 mins, all this stuff about removing outer section is rubbish, first remove numberplate then pull the corner while at same time pressing with your knee against the bumper to counter act it and it will unclip and all come off in one section.
