Fixing My Mk1 Niggles (Aircon, Heated Windscreen, Elec Windows).

Hi guys, looking to fix up the remaining niggles on my Mk1.

Aircon button light comes on but air is no colder, seems to dry the air though as helps to demist, so is it just a re-gas that's needed?

Heated front windscreen, works great on the passenger side, demists in seconds, drivers side takes 5-10 mins if at all (less of an issue now the weathers improved).

Electric windows, passenger window works fine with it's own controllers, but drivers side button can only put the passenger window up, not down (just contact cleaner needed?).

Thanks.

Aircon possible regas

Heated screen, if it,s the same as a later model, wiper arm damaged the wiring

Window switch try cleaner, but probably dodgy switch.

Thanks, spoke to the old owner and they tried a regas once and it lasted a day or two then stopped so imagine there's a leak, might look into tracking this down, depends on cost.

Thanks for the windscreen link will look into that.

Switch wise I'll give contact cleaner a go, if not I imagine a new switch should be easy enough.

Also made a new thread here for another issue, in this section as well. Cheers.
